My Rottweilers

Happy things first.

Rangi my 17 months old rottweiler whose only ambition in life is to become a black Labrador just had his photos taken in a studio and here they are.
I have more pictures coming soon of him in a rather ferocious look taken during his schutzhund training at the German Shepherd Dog Club.
Now for the sad part.
Hector my 11 year old rottweiler has bone cancer (osteosarcoma ) diagnosed last Aug and he was given only 3 to 6 months to live. I had to amputate his left leg as the cancer had eaten away much of his leg bone and thanks to Dennis Choi and Prakash of Mt Pleasant animal hospital and also his strong spirit he came home only a day after the amputation hopping around happily on 3 legs as if nothing had happened. Later he had a malignant tumor on his testicles which also had to surgically removed and then last week his gums started bleeding which turned out to be another cancerous growth and off to the vet for another surgery.
He is still alert and active with good appetite so I hope he can live on for many more months.
